Marty Swiatek & RBO is the continuing legacy of the
Rich Bobinski Orchestra. Before Rich’s passing in March of 2001, he
requested that if anything happened to him, we would carry on with the band.
As of March 2001, Marty Swiatek took on that responsibility at Rich’s
request and the request of our many fans. The band name changed shortly
after to reflect the new leadership.
We have played many polka venues and private engagements in the past 7 years
throughout Connecticut, New Jersey, New York, New Hampshire, Massachusetts,
Pennsylvania and
Missouri . We have released a CD entitled “Marty Swiatek
& RBO - THE LEGACY CONTINUES” which is dedicated to Rich.
We are a group of talented and versatile musicians who have bonded together
like family. The camaraderie is apparent on stage. We have a polka style
that keeps the fans coming back for more. And as long as we keep playing
Rich’s music, he will always be with us on stage.
